Take an hour (and we're not talking lunch)

Use this Framework to build in one hour a day, 5 days a week, just for you.

đź“— Framework details

Back in school, you got an hour to go absolute ape sh*t because your body and mind needed it. It’s astonishing what pelting your classmates with rubber dodgeballs can do for the spirit.

Unfortunately, we lost sight of the importance of taking breaks when “productivity” became the new “synergy”. If you find yourself hitting a wall midday, stop pounding against the said wall like work-obsessed Bob The Builder and instead step away and take your recess.

Do an hour of hot yoga. Crack open some good fiction. Go for a run. Take a nap. Whatever you do, just don't check your email until your hour is up.

đź“— Next steps

  • Take a look at your calendar, and see where you can fit in one hour a day just to yourself. Make sure to have something planned to do. Read a book, exercise, meditate, it’s totally up to you. Just make sure to have a plan. Lock it in as a repeat event for the next 30 days.

  • Understand that issues will come up from time to time, and that’s okay. Just make sure to get back on track when you can.

  • This is designed to be a recovery activity, so if possible, use this downtime to regulate as you see fit.
